Redruth is part of the largest conurbation in Cornwall. It is centrally located, with excellent access to the main A30 dual carriageway, and along other major routes to the South Coast at Falmouth and the Lizard. The train station is on the mainline – with regular trains to London Paddington. Bus services in and around Redruth are excellent, with regular routes to local beaches and to other towns in the area. Redruth is within an hour’s drive of most destinations in Cornwall, and is within 2 hours of much of Devon.
The local destinations of Portreath, Gwithian, The Towans, St Agnes, Porthtowan and Perranporth are all within 15 minutes drive, and further afield destinations such as Marazion, St Michael’s Mount, St Ives, Praa Sands, Porthleven and Newquay are within half an hour.
